Job well done!
Prolonging of service contract after 10 years of partnership

In February MAN PrimeServ and Destination Gotland signed a new service contract concerning the high speed ferry Gotlandia II prolonging a partnership that has lasted for 10 years.

MAN PrimeServ has been in charge of all service and maintenance for the 4 x MAN20V28/33D engines onboard Gotlandia II since she was first put into traffic back in 2006.

- During the summer season there is absolutely no room for any down time on a vessel like Gotlandia II and we are very pleased that Destination Gotland feel confident to put the vessels engines in MAN PrimeServ hands, trusting us with securing the vital uptime says Henrik Malm, Head of PrimeServ in MAN Diesel & Turbo Sweden.


MAN|PrimeServ Sweden expansion

MAN PrimeServ Sweden keeps its strategic goal to ramp up the technical service business to secure and meet our customers’ expectations and demand for our services. 

- We are in the process of recruiting 4 new service engineers within Q2 2016. We can see a growing demand for our services and we feel confident that the increase will continue over the next years to come says Magnus Adetoft, Service manager at MAN PrimeServ Sweden. He continues; - The technical service business for the, recently acquired, MAN Cryo marine fuel gas supply system business will also be integrated into MAN PrimeServ which, even more, increases the demand for more man power in our organisation. 


Technical Seminar Helsinki, Finland

On the 17th of March MAN Diesel & Turbo hosted the first technical seminar for our Finish customer in the beautiful capital of Finland, Helsinki. 

The seminar was held in the Nokka restaurant and visited by ship owners, ship designers and ship yards. One of the participants states "-We found the seminar to be very interesting especially the speeches about TIER III, multimapping and the new MAN175D genset"

The event turned out to be a success and we would like to thank all involved for make the day. We are already looking forward to next year.
