Join us this weekend as we begin our parish's Forty Hours Eucharistic Devotion. Beginning Sunday, October 11th and ending Tuesday, October 13th, we encourage you to come spend time with Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament. You can join by signing up for a time slot, stopping in for short personal prayer, or participating in one of our prayer opportunities. This is the perfect chance to slow down our busy lives and meet Jesus in the Eucharist.
Our overall theme this year will be on the Holy Family, diving deeper into Saint Joseph, the Blessed Mother, and Jesus throughout each day. With that, we are excited to offer some new opportunities throughout each day of our devotion.
First, we will be having a noisy family hour from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Monday and Tuesday. Parents, feel free to stop in during this time with your children without having to worry about keeping them quiet. We invite you to enter this time of prayer for however long you can, allowing your kids to just be and for you to find peace in the Blessed Sacrament. Next, we will offer midday prayer for those who find it harder to travel out to the parish later at night in the dark. Finally, for our parish Holy Hour from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monsignor Hennessy will offer a reflection with intercessory prayer and a litany each night focusing on the theme of the Holy Family, respectively. We will also have the opportunity to hear a witness from our parishioner Kyle Retallick on Sunday evening, our missionary Meghan Wickersham on Monday evening, and our seminarian Ryan Scavnicky on Tuesday evening.
