Community Dinner This Sunday

The Community Dinner outreach provides a nutritious home-cooked meal on the 2nd Sunday of each month to the community. 

This Sunday's Menu: walking tacos with all the toppings, fresh fruit, and brownies. 

Construction on the Sidewalks

You have probably noticed that we are repairing sections of the sidewalks and upgrading some new areas. Please watch your step around the construction and in the parking lot as well. 

It will all be great when it's finished but until then,  'mind your step.'

Monthly Opportunities at City Mission

After Lent, where we sought to “share the bread” with our neighbors, the mission committee has decided to continue  these mission opportunities twice a month—one lunch and one dinner. The next available dates are:

• Tuesday, August 12, 10:30 a.m.—1:00 p.m.
• Thursday, August 28, 4:00 p.m.—6:30 p.m.

GatherRing Handbells - New rehearsal day 
and time!

Rehearsals: 
1st, 3rd, & 5th Wednesdays of the month from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary

Chancel Choir Rehearsals
Wednesdays 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the Choir Room

All rehearsals begin Wednesday, August 27. See you there!

Meet and Greet Reception

FPC is the new home of the newly formed Findlay Community Orchestra! Come meet the members, the conductor, and the rehearsal space. We are excited to be the host for this musical organization.

Monthly Worship Schedule

August 10 - Worship. Rev. Jessica Commeret preaching and Donna Lora, guest musician.

August 17 - Worship will be led by the ASP Mission Team that served in Kentucky. Guest musician: Donna Lora. We will also commission Mercer Phlegar for her YAV (Young Adult Volunteer) year in Montana. 

August 24 - Worship in the Sanctuary and the Blessing of Backpacks.

August 31 (Labor Day Weekend) - Worship with Rev. Jessica Commeret preaching. 

September 7 - Kick-Off Sunday! Rev. Jessica Commeret preaching and we will be joined by the Chancel Choir and Festival Brass.
